- margouya2 patagonia
Also run buy French globetrotters. Great colonial house with garden and -very important- a BBQ grill! ;-) Rooms with private bathrooms and rooms with shared bathrooms. Tons of great tours, e.g.: paragliding, canyoning, mountain bike tours (and rental), horseback riding, trekking, kayaking and rafting.
- Casa Azul Hostel
Casa Azul Hostel is not a hotel, it is a home where you can definitely relax, ... Feel the magic of their garden, their big terrace,... the hammocks, Bonsai trees, the Japanese fishpond,... lots of green, ... lots of peace!
- Patagonia Hostel
Cozy hostel with two double rooms and one 6-person dorm, by far the best home-made German bread near by (Sandra, we still want that recipe... ;-)...) and a broad variety of information of things to do in the area. Patagonia Hostel, in our opinion, is clearly the best hostel in Coyhaique! Highly recommended!
The two Germans Thomas and Sandra offer kayak tours, trekking tours and horse trekking tours as well as rental car tours along the Carretera Austral. They live in the beautifully located city of Coyhaique. We praise them for their inside knowledge of the land and the people of the Región de Aysén (XI Región, hence Central Patagonia) and for their downright professionalism. Highly recommended!
Over the years, our partnership with AktivoTOURS has led us -amongst others- , speaking as our own travel agency Turismo Aonikenk, to develope a variety of tours together that we have been operating together, such as:
Horse Trekking - "Adventure Patagonia" - On horseback along the old paths of the pioneers through the wild South of Chile - 20 days, 19 nights
- SIM Expeditions
- The German skipper Wolf and his Venezuelan wife Jeannete offer sailing tours with their sailing yachts SY Santa María and SY Santa María Australis around Cape Horn, to the fjords of Tierra del Fuego and to Antarctica. Over 15 years for sailing experience at the End of the World speak for itself. Nevertheless, we'd still like to express our recommendations...! ;-)
